TL;DR: Keller Williams revamped their awards program by partnering with Boundless to create sleek, modern awards that were easier to ship and produce. The new approach reduced hassle and waste, making it a cinch for Keller Williams to honor its top performers.

overview

Keller Williams is the largest real estate franchise in the United States and has over 176,000 agents worldwide. It can be a challenge to manage the culture of a multinational corporation, though, which is why Keller Williams hosts an annual Family Reunion event every year.

The Family Reunion draws well over 15,000 attendees yearly for networking, training, education, and exhibitions. Keller Williams also uses the Family Reunion as an opportunity to acknowledge top performers by sales volume and hand out over 850 awards each year.

Keller Williams previously tapped Boundless Brand Consultant Andi Vopalensky Morales to help them create a more modern awards program in 2015. Andi and her team developed a complex promotional program with trophies in various sizes.

The program worked well, but Keller Williams wanted to streamline and improve the recognition experience even more. Boundless and Keller Williams returned to the drawing board in 2021 to design effective awards that would turn more heads.

strategy & goals

Keller Williams’ multi-sized awards took up a lot of space and came with issues like overstocking and understocking. It was also tricky shipping large trophies to the ceremony and back to recipients’ homes after the event.

Boundless came up with sleek, modern acrylic awards in just one size. Boundless also identified a manufacturer to design this custom commemorative award just for Keller Williams, giving recipients a unique centerpiece to show off their hard work. The flat design also made transporting and displaying the unique awards easier.

results

Keller Williams was thrilled with the result. Not only are their new acrylic awards one of a kind, but the uniform size and design make ordering and managing inventory much easier. They no longer have to worry about underbuying or overbuying, which reduces both hassle and waste.

conclusion

Keller Williams’ Family Reunion awards acknowledge the hard work of individuals, teams, and groups from regions across North America. The awards build a stronger culture by honoring the team’s dedication to excellence.

The awards were already a hit, but the newly streamlined option has led to a continuation of the program year over year. Keller Williams can now honor its top performers while maximizing its budget, minimizing waste, and with a simplified shipping process. When it comes to recognition, Keller Williams knows how to close the deal.
